A few weeks ago I was invited by Vern Burkhardt, a writer for the free weekly electronic newsletter issued by IdeaConnection, to answer a series of 21 questions about Smart World. My response is now posted at IdeaConnection interview. The interview ranged over a broad series of topics, including the creative economy, e-theory, order for free, reading the world, reason versus the imagination, (not) thinking outside the box, and the One Laptop per Child Initiative. I was especially grateful for the opportunity to say more about imaginative intelligence and its role in creative leaps.
IdeaConnection is a Canadian company based in Victoria focusing collaborative problem solving, creativity, and idea exchange. I found the list of previous interviews conducted by Vern Burkhardt and synopses of recent books on innovation particularly interesting. Check these out at www.ideaconnection.com.
